B-G Gold Reflective Heat Tape

Available in 1” (25.4mm) or 2” (50.8mm) wide rolls and lengths of 15ft (4.57m) and 30ft (9.15m), the B-G Gold Reflective Tape is a highly effective heat management tape for use in a variety of applications. 

The polyamide polymer fibreglass laminate structure keeps the material thin and lightweight, whilst the gold metallised surface resists radiant heat of up to 550°C (1022°F) and direct contact of up to 450°C (850°F).  

The B-G Gold Reflective Tape is resistant to UV degradation ensuring consistent long-term performance, and can be accurately cut to shape using scissors or a sharp knife, making it suitable for a variety of areas such as firewalls, engine bays, gearbox tunnels and more.

When fitting to curved pipework, such as induction pipes, we recommend measuring the circumference of the pipe, cutting into smaller lengths and applying one piece at a time, and having a small overlap between each strip of tape. 

It's also important to ensure the surface is clean before application, we usually apply a small amount of degreasing agent and wipe the surface with a clean cloth to guarantee maximum adhesion.
