MOMO Prototipo Desert

MOMO has introduced the Prototipo Desert, an exclusive new interpretation of one of the most iconic steering wheels in the brand's history.

Retaining the familiar geometry and ergonomic design that have made the Prototipo a favourite among performance and motorsport enthusiasts, the Prototipo Desert introduces a distinctive new aesthetic inspired by the colours and textures of the desert.

At 350mm in diameter, the Prototipo Desert offers an excellent balance between steering sensitivity, driver feedback and classic styling. The circular-section rim has been designed to provide a natural and comfortable grip, making it equally at home in a performance road car or a carefully prepared classic.

The standout feature is the premium Sahara Vintage Leather covering the rim. Naturally treated to enhance its unique texture, the leather gives the steering wheel a distinctive, tactile appearance. Tone-on-tone parallel stitching adds a subtle finishing detail while complementing the natural character of the leather.

The Desert theme continues across the spokes, which feature an exclusive Dark Brown anodised finish. The darker spokes create an elegant contrast against the lighter Sahara Vintage Leather, giving the Prototipo Desert a distinctive appearance without compromising its classic character.

At the centre, the milled and hand-enameled MOMO logo provides the finishing touch. This carefully crafted detail highlights the attention to materials and workmanship that goes into the Prototipo Desert and reflects MOMO's long-standing Italian craftsmanship.
