Arai GP-5W Motorsport Helmet

The Arai GP-5W motorsport helmet has been developed specifically for touring car, saloon and rally drivers, combining outstanding visibility, exceptional comfort and race-proven protection. Designed to meet the demands of closed cockpit competition, the GP-5W features an adjustable Hyper T peak with an integrated sun visor to help reduce glare in changing light conditions.

Constructed using Arai's lightweight and incredibly strong PB cLc (Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction) shell, the GP-5W offers exceptional impact protection while incorporating an additional 5mm of chin space for improved comfort during long race sessions.

One of the GP-5W's standout features is its taller 90mm eye port, providing a significantly wider field of vision than the GP-6 series. This allows drivers to easily monitor dashboard instruments and rear-view mirrors with minimal head movement, making it an ideal choice for touring cars, rally cars and other saloon-based race vehicles.

Comfort is further enhanced by five integrated ventilation ducts that promote excellent airflow throughout the helmet, while interchangeable multi-thickness cheek pads allow the fit to be tailored to individual preferences. A fire-resistant Nomex® interior lining and distinctive yellow Kevlar® chin strap complete the premium specification expected from Arai.

The GP-5W is supplied with the GP-5W/GP-Jet peak and factory-installed 6mm threaded posts, making it compatible with a wide range of Frontal Head Restraint devices using 6mm attachment bolts.

Certified to Snell SA2020 and FIA 8859-2015 standards, the Arai GP-5W delivers the safety, comfort and visibility required by serious competitors across a wide range of motorsport disciplines.
