| Daniel Brown - British GT - MOMO MoslerWednesday, 1 April 2009 Le Mans star Stuart Hall and Formula Palmer Audi graduate Dan Brown will race in British GT in a MOMO backed Mosler GT3 car for 2009.
Mosler Europe team principle Martin Short quoted: " I have known Dan's father, Sean from his Lotus Cortina racing days. In fact I built a rollcage for him! Dan and Stuart had been talking for a while, and are mates of old as well, and it all came together over a period of a month or so. Dan tested with us at Magny Cours and Silverstone in a GT3 car, and loved it. I think he was really surprised by GT cars, in that they are nice to drive, and the discipline and intelligence needed to do well. He more than demonstrated that this weekend at Silverstone when Dan and myself won the Britcar 2 Hours, and I was delighted to have him in the team. Dan is only 17, is still at school, but he has the head of a seasoned campaigner on him. And he's very quick!
Stuart Hall also came to me from Single Seaters, and really showed what an F3 slicks and wings driver can bring to Sports Car racing, not only with speed, but also with that race craft and discipline. His races with Joao Barbosa in my Pescarolo in 2007 really showed what he could do, with the 4th place at Le Mans underlining what a stellar job he did in his first season in a Sports Car. I am really pleased to have secured Stuart's services again."
"The driver pairing of these lads will be really good. They are mates on and off the track, and Stuart will now take on the role that Barbosa had with him, and will bring Dan on, and show him the ropes. Stuart has extensive knowledge of the Mosler already, having finished second with us in the Britcar Silverstone 24 Hours.
I haven't felt so excited about British GT for years!"
